My drawings

I've done all of these not at the same time but only when I felt I need to do something. It is hard to keep your hobby when their are babies around climbing up and down your lap when you are trying to do something. The blurred falcon and insect were done months ago but the rest were done just last month, since my primary kids I'm teaching at church demanded to have some picture of their favorite cartoon character. Since I don't want to give away the original copy, I decided to give them a nice photocopy which they all enjoy. Instead of having just a copy of their favorite character, they got the copy of all the pictures I drew. Sometimes, it's nice to have something done, but of course, I can't say that I have done a perfect job but I can say that I have tried my best.
When I was in my high school, I remember, I used to make money out of making a visual aids for students in both college and high school. Now I am doing it just for fun. But once in a while, I would thought that it would be nice if I can make a sort of compilation of the things I can do. My kids may find good use of it later on. Or maybe they will be motivated to learn. My materials? Just pencil and paper, no fancy stuffs.

I agree. You are very talented. I analyzed your drawings and like your technique. With your cartoon art it seems you use the side of the pencil to create the lines (or the point is really thick)and if so, that is not easy to do. Your nature pieces are spectacular! It seems as if it drawing them came real easy for you. The detail and realism is outstanding. The butterfly and falcon are very strong pieces. Where you live is an ideal place for you to continue to develop your talent for drawing nature.

Hi Maria: Thanks for the compliments. I believe that God gave us talents for a purpose. I have to keep on working on it.

Hi Amy: Thanks for following my blog, and for the compliment.

HI JFS: I know you are a good artist too. With the cartoons, I used a charcoal pencil and that gives me a broader strokes. Not to brag about it, but I only spend few minutes if the boys are staying out of my way. One thing that I like here is, I can collect as much materials as I want to and Rich is such a big supporter of mine. He would go and buy materials even though I don't need one.
