Freaky Wednesday!

My husband woke up 5:30am and turned off the music of his alarm clock. I wish he could leave it on, it is a soft jazz music -not the surprising snooze. Laying half awake, I tried to think how to get things done for tomorrow. A little past 6am I jumped off from bed and tip toe to the kitchen. The outside is blurred with fog and looks crisp as the ground is lightly covered with winter frost. The babies are still sleeping and I don't want to wake them up, not at this time where I have lots of things to do. I started grating the cheese, and realize that I don't have enough Montery jack cheese for my chicken enchalada, I decided to add a little bit of swiss cheese and more of the cheddar cheese. In the middle of the rush I thought that I have to fix meals for the day first, so I have my rice on and I thought of boiling mung beans and saute it, and top with leafy vegetables, then I realize that Richard put the pan at the back porch as I burn the left over sweet corn kernels last night. I thought that I opened the right burner for the chicken but sometimes it just happened and it's not my first time. :) I started scrubbing the pan as slowly as I can as I don't want to make a big noise. I guess I can't make it because the burned kernels stick really good so I started scrubbing it hard. Then Zach woke up. Now my rice is cook and just waiting for the mung beans. I thought I can write down what is expected here today and so while waiting I use up the time for few updates. It's gonna be a long day and I will try to bake some bread before I wrap up my day. To all who are busy for Thanksgiving, stay safe and enjoy the fun.
